Monstrosity
Information

The following articles can help you learn more about Monstrosity.
Monstrosity is a larp that can be enjoyed in one of two ways. First, we hope that you come to the larp to explore what it means to be a monster, and examine hypocrisy, self-acceptance and power from multiple angles. But also, Monstrosity is a larp where you get to bite people, often in sexy ways. And that’s a lot of fun too.
Monstrosity is a three-day larp where participants play vampires and their human prey. The vampires feed, the humans struggle to survive, and they all play cruel games with each other. In the end, there are only vampires... and corpses. Learn about the concept, characters, vision of play, and more. Included in this article is a schedule activities.
In Monstrosity, we tell our stories with our bodies, using realistic violence and actual sexual activities. Monstrosity is a risky larp, and it requires a significant amount of risk management. To do so, we have two strategies: mitigate the risks you’ll encounter, and help you make risk-aware consent decisions.
Monstrosity works a little differently than other larps… you can’t just sign up for it. Additionally, even after you’ve joined the cast, you might not be able to play. We have a three-step process we call “Invited, Accepted, Partnered” that we use to ensure we have the best possible casts. Learn about this process and how to apply for the larp.
